How Long Does It Take to Get Solar Panels Installed?
Once you’ve contacted the First Class Solar team, a member of our technical team will then get back to you within 3 working days.
We’ll get a bit more information about the system you’re looking for, your roof type and your current electric spend, and they can then design a system using our industry-leading software. Our technician then arranges an in-person appointment to ensure that your home is suitable and works with you to make any necessary notes or changes to the system. And then the decision is left in your hands!
Once you’ve agreed to 25+ years of savings from your solar system and signed the contract, it’s about 2-6 weeks before you have your First Class Solar system installed.
Our team aims to complete your solar panel installation in one day, with your system switched on on the day – immediate savings! We’ve included a case study below of a system with 16 solar panels in Kesh.
Case Study: Kesh
This customer reached out to us via Facebook, and our technician Matthew went out for the site visit. The homeowner decided to opt for 16 solar panels on their metal tin roof, with a 3.6kW hybrid inverter and 10kWh battery housed in the garage. The system was complemented with a myenergi Eddi – a hot water diverter that sends any excess electricity into the hot water tank.
We also fitted a double off-grid socket, which is exceptionally useful in the event of a power cut. Fitting this socket is dependent on the type of metering and earthing supplied to your property by NIE, which means this is not possible for all homes.
As with all of our installations, our technician then went out a day or two after install to set up the customer on their solar app, register them for export payments and answer any questions about the system.
